I have a motor YZ 250 s/n 56A00 w/ Crank starter and cylinder of tri z and a connecting rod 3R5.
And i buyed a yz 250 piston but it's not compatible with my motor and with a piston of triz it's the same.
Piston excelled
224810
224811
Connecting rod
224812
my question is, which piston is that I use?
Thanks in advance

You probably have to use the piston for the Tri-z. It is possible that the wrist pin won't fit the YZ rod. I'm not sure, but it's something to be aware of.

I'm going to guess your rod is too long, correct part # for a z rod is 24Y-11651-01-00

A colleague told me that a possible solution would be to put a spacer gasket between transmission and about 1/2 inch cylinder that is what stands out the piston
You think it would be correct?
Give us the years of all parts used.
and the year is 1985 the part of yz and triz

Yes. Unless you want to buy and install a new rod.
