front axle stuck

my front axle is frozen in the hub on my 250sx. what are my options for attempting to get it out? thanks

Heat it up with a torch at the brake hub , I use an air impact to break them loose after about 5 good minuets of heat .

Take and use a small plumbers torch on delicate vintage stuff. Heat the axle itself good idea to free the drum first. Then slowly tap the axle out.

Impact hammer chisel works way better than punch and sledge hammer, found that out too late in life.

soak it in a bucket of diesel, atleast over night or longer, then use an air chisle with a blunt end so you dont mess up what you are hitting, if that dont budge it use heat after you cleaned off the diesel then a socket over the end and the bigest sledge you have. secure it between two congrete blocks and beat the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro out of it with a sledge:Bounce

if you can grab it anywhere with a big pipe wrench without chewing it up, turn it little by little back and forth to start it moving and break it free

think i'll start with the heat and impact wrench, then move to the popping on it with a mallet. don't have an impact chisel and not sure I'm understanding proper use on that one anyway -
when I have used impact chisel in the past I've use the sharp end

One side of the axle is threaded into the lower fork tube so that's the first thing to get loose and if the axle is stuck in the usual spot at the brake drum area its not fun .
Lots of heat and patience ,,,,, LOL .

Did not think about it being threaded into the one fork leg...anyway the air chisel usually has a pointed drift end attachment and axle bolts usually have a hole on the threaded end for a drift.
These remove wheel studs easy. I removed some swingarm bearings that were completed rusted in place and fell apart by using a socket and the air chisel. Its like having a hammer hitting it 5 times a second.

I get it now nd4speed. I didn't realize it came with a pointed attachment. and yes straightline10, its stuck in the hub. i'll have to come up with a impact chisel as it now has multiple uses for me. thanks
