What model Honda is it ?

My neighbor has a 1986 honda quad. It is not 4x4. It has a 250cc four stroke motor.
Anyone know what model this is ?

It's either a trx250 or trx200sx. Are you sure it is a 250?

87 was the first year of the 250x fourtrax, you sure it is model year 86 and not just built at the end of 86 but is a 87 model? These look like a typical sports quad for the most part, square tubing frame like the late model atc200x

trx250 looks like an older version of a foreman, basically the quad version of the atc250es big red. Should have front and rear racks, "J" tubing front suspension, and the engine should look just like a 250es engine.

The trx200sx engine looks a lot like the 200es big red engine, never seen one in person, only in photos. I don't think it had front racks?
