New member today. Does anybody know what size are the fork boots on 84 200s? Daystar makes lots of them. I can get nos for 35 each. Seems a little steep. What lenght ,top diameter, and bottom diameter. Thanks, mick.

I found these. The tops are about right, a little tight but they fit. The bottoms are pretty snug but they will stretch over the bottom legs. I did allot of searching and these were the only ones I found that work.

There are plenty of honda oem options they are just not exactly for a 200s here is the first http://dratv.com/rfoboforat.html these are the cheapest and probably the boots I would go with. The next are the oem boots for a 200es http://dratv.com/282t.html. I have these exact boots on my 200m they are just a little bit big on the top. Then there are these http://dratv.com/freoeat19s.html these say they are for your 200s. The last are from a crf 125f I have seen these on bikes in the showroom and they look almost identical to the original boots.http://www.partsfish.com/oemparts/p/honda/51611-k28-911/boot-fr-fork

Check out full length SealSavers, they are the new tech of Fork boot. I was going to go with them but want to keep the "fresh out of the 80s" look.

Bellows style fork boots are the best for conventional telescopic forks....bla bla bla.....Those neoprene covers ride directly against the fork.. bla bla bla.....those neoprene covers can also cause increased stiction. bla bla bla....I always go with OEM fork boots when available.
Apparently ATC King is not aware of the rule that in a Forum, lodgic and well-formed thoughts and opinions backed with facts are not allowed. This is a "It looks gooder than stock" situation.

Note: You have valid points ATC King, I was not aware of these issues.

Fork boots trap dirt and water.

Yes my dad had a set of the Dr atv boots a few years ago and I don't think they later even a year before they deteriorated.
