New from San Diego

[Silver Bullet I]

I'm new from San Diego and figured I would introduce myself. I currently have a 86 250r. I bought it 7 years ago and rode it down my street once then it's sat ever since. A couple weeks ago I got the 3 wheeler bug and started going through the whole bike. It's almost back together and ready to start, just waiting for a few parts. The bike is mainly stock other than axle, carrier, pipe, silencer, and twist throttle. I do have all the stock original parts if I ever wanted to go back that way.

I have previously owned a 85 125m (back in 85), and a 185 in the early 90's. I've just rode dirt bikes since.

i remember back in the day one of my friends had a 250r and i had a 250sx. he wanted to ride mine so we swapped. we were riding in and out of this creek… i remember trying to kick start his r and my foot slips off the kicker arm and it backlashed into my shin. man did that effing hurt!! i was so grateful for the electric starter on my 250sx after that episode. his 250r was very, very fast as i remember it too and looked just like yours.
