I found a 1985 big red es that is in absolute mint condtion and I mean mint. It includes the foot guards, the only thing it is missing is the black front fender guard. The guys wants 3500, or I could buy two 250sx's for 2 grand and they look like they are in decent shape. I know I will never see a big red like this again what should I do??

Even for perfect, that's a high price. Here in really nice shape they are $1500 to a high of $2500 with many original hondaline parts and a plow. The sx deal sounds pretty good if they are decent.

In texas, those 2 250sx would be a bargain if they run. A mint 250es would be around 2k.

Thats too much for a big red.
Buy the 250 SX's If there pretty good, they are more sporty then a big red, built more for the trails.
Just be sure to check the rear end bearings on them before you buy if at all possible

1500. If you don't feel like you're borderline stealing it then it's not a good deal.

The big red sounds really nice, but a little pricey. If the 250sx's are complete and running, thats the better deal. I love my 85 250sx. I wouldnt take 2 grand for mine

i'd go with the 2 decent 250sx's if you plan to do any serious riding. if you just take the big red out for parades then go for it. hate to spend that kind of money to ride thru the woods etc

3500 is way to much for any big red, even if it is in mint condition. Just my opinion.
