Hey,
Just wondering if anyone knows exactly where the oil pump draws oil from on a yamaha 4-stroke, specifically a YTM200k.
From the manual it looks like the oil pump itself is located towards the front of the engine on the lower right hand side.

I'm asking because from my streetbike experience, I know all about oil starvation due to long wheelies.
I am familiar with having to lengthen or extend the oil pick-up locations towards the rear of the oil sump to prevent pump cavitation and seizing your motor.

Maybe it's not an issue on these bikes, but hopefully someone can provide some insight.
I'm the proud owner of a near mint original 82 Tri-Moto that still has over 145psi compression and I'd like to keep it that way, haha.
