Welcome to 3 wheeler world. Where you can find endless amounts of information about 3 wheelers.

The fl250/350, not so much. But accepted within the community.

Been sitting for 15 years? Sounds like a $100 crash course in two stroke motor restoration for starters.

My brain hurts after reading a post without punctuation. Wish I could understand what you're saying, but anyways, I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever it is you got there!

Congrats on the Odysseys. By the way, just a friendly tip. You might want to remove your actual street number and address from your info, and just leave your city/state. The only one around here who generally gives out his addy is DOHC.

You do realize that these are two strokes, right? They should burn oil. Also since they've been sitting for a while, they could be getting extra oil unless you've cleaned the gas tanks really well. The gas evaporates and will leave some oil behind. I used to have an old Suzuki TS185 that would smoke really badly and not idle if I let it sit for more than three weeks. After a couple of minutes, it would run and smoke like normal.

If you have the machine tore down, I'd be interested in some photos of the wire harness. I haven't searched them out too much, but wouldn't mind looking at reproducing them if I can find all the connectors etc.

I kind of always wanted an FL250 or FL350, but everyone around here wants $1000+. I'm not a huge 2 stroke fan, but the solid rear axle will make it drive like a quad in the regards that the rear end will slip around easier than an open rear end like modern go-carts (if they have enough power to even spin the tires!).

Exception to the above... are the rage buggies, this one is 70hp and 0-60 is something like 3 secs. Price tag will kill ya though.

Sounds good, I tried to research them a little and it sounds like the wire harness is broken up into like 3 segments, lighting, main, and sub harnesses. Is there really a point to have 3 harnesses with probably double the connection points (and points of failure)? I don't have any to reference, so maybe things make more logical sense in person, like the lights come off and unplug from the harness in a logical area. Just trying to wrap my head around why it was made the way it is.
