Slid on the snow and tipped my '85 200M at low speed. I got lucky, because at 70 years of age, my bones are more brittle than most trike parts. :) I only strained some muscles.
BUT, the ?perch? for the left brake lever snapped. I don't use that control often, but it also has the engagement bail for the wheel lock and that I need when stopping on hills.
It's a clean break, and appears to be sintered aluminum. Can I use JB Weld to patch it, since it will only get real pressure pushing it together and not at any bias or angle or flex?
I've found a couple of assemblies on eBay, but they seem to stop at 1983 versions, although they look very similar, or the same in the photos.
So, will JB Weld work, or is there some other inexpensive adhesive/technique to put the perch back together?
Picture with black 226676cable tie holding the two sides together
Thank you, very much.
