wrecked on my sx bad !UPDATED WITH PICS!

I hit a jump in 3rd yesterday and landed wrong. Like really wrong. I got pulled under the left wheel when my boot slipped off the foot peg when I landed. basicaly the bike did some cartwheels with me on it. I could walk when I stood up but my shin was all numb so I knew something was wrong with it. My brother and I flew down the road on our tirkes and loaded up the bikes and went to the hospital. The left foot peg went through my weatherproof pants and my jeans and took a bite out of my shin right down to the bone. There were nurses and doctors commin in to my room nonstop to look at this thing . my brother even overheard one nurse talki9ng to another about going to see this huge wound before they came into my room to look at it. all in all like a dozen people that didn't need to see it were shown it cause of other doctors' big mouths. I am rambling because of the oxycodone they gave me. The wound is a big "V" shape that barely misses my knee cap (amazing luck!) so I wont need rehab to fix anything. They wanted to send me from the ER to the Operating Room becuase the wound was so big. Scary sh!t. When I moved my leg you could see the bone sitting still while the flesh and muscle moved around it.

I got 33 stiches and a drain put in my leg to drain the extra blood. My brother got some pictures with my digital camera before they stiched it up. I havent seen the wound cause I refuse to look at it or the pictures untill it is healed. But everyone that has seen it had a great reaction to it!!
I'll have pictures in about a week when I can actually handle looking at the picture of it. I am usually a responsible rider but yesterday was an exception :oops:

Sounds like that guy in Crusty Demons of Dirt 1 (Or maybe it was 2?) that wrecked his bike and had a nice slab of meat gone and the shin bone was completel exposed. Atleast you werent hurt any worse then that.

I havent so much as glanced at the sx since I rode it out of the woods to go to the hospital. I just hope the new handls bars aren't bent!

they took the drain out of my leg today. It was a tube that they surgically implanted near the stiches . The drain was a hand grennade shaped pump at the end of the tube that used negetive pressure to suck extra blood out of the wound. hurt like pi$$ when the doc. pulled it out of my leg!

you guys should see the scar i have on my left rist becaus eof a dirt bike axident 8) 3 screws and a metal plate are all that hold my left rist together :twisted: teaches me to try to super bike a dirt bike around a corner on pavement with gravil in the road. man that hurt :twisted:

back in 98 I got in an accident with at jeep. I was riding my street bike and i was going to go around a stoped jeep in the passing lane. I hit some cinders and the bike went sideways and I ramed into the jeep sideways. 90% of the impact was absorbed by my left leg. after i hit the jeep i flew over the jeep and landed ina ditch 50 feet away from the accident. A long story short, My left leg was shattered and i now have a rod in my lower leg bone, and a steel plate screwed into my upper leg bone and i only got like 120 staples. Good new is that i saved the bike, only bent the handle bars and scraped the gas tank. Now I'm riding 3 wheelers. having that extra wheel helps out, lol
