I am sourcing parts to rebuild my 85 ATC 110 and as I got to pull the top end apart due to a lot of blue smoke I am thinking why not a bit bigger slug for a bit more hp, I know stroking gets torque but this makes more sense maybe a sprocket change later for more umph. Does anyone know if the pistons for a lifan 140cc or 150cc would fit as I believe these engines are copies of hondas? Here are the pistons I am thinking about using

or for the 150CC

I am leaning towards the 140cc piston as at 55mm as this will give me some room for error and or future rebuilds vs the 150cc 56mm piston. This would give me 117cc or with the 56mm piston 121cc.

Anybody know if these work or have experience with them?

Andy

Well pulled the trigger on the 55mm slug so hope it fits I will let you all know if it works.

I bet a piston for an ATC 110 would fit for sure, and the one that you bought will not just fit right in. So now you have a great shifter knob for a car or truck anyway.

the piston deck height I'm sure is different.
Pm me if you want to buy a correct size piston :)
