I am trying to wire in a pro design kill switch.............Was told by manufacture to wire into the pulse trigger wire coming out of stator. Then other wire to ground.

Anyone know which of the wires is the pulse trigger wire??

Also, I first wired it into the positive side of coil, now electric start will not turn engine over. (clicks when start button pressed)

Runs when pull started and when running the headlight and tail light flicker. Also head light is brighter when idleing than when revving up.

Did I fry the voltage regulator/ rectifier??

Any help would be definitely appreciated!

Easiest way to connect is one wire to the spark plug coil input which can be done without splicing any wiring. Just put the bare wire end into the spade connector and plug it on. Ground the other wire to the frame.

when I removed tha lanyard, it would turn over.
(works backwards)

I made sure I had the right wire to coil and ground........

Any other ideas?
Thanks!
