85 200x air tube? Question. Help!!

Ok. Finally got the motor back together and getting it mocked up to try and fire it before i tear it down and restore. Got the motor in, intake on, carb on. Tried getting the tube from carb to airbox on, and its well short. At least an inch or two. Am i missing something, or do i have the wrong part?? 228217228219

Boil it in water to stretch it out

Ahhh silly me. Definitely should have thought of trying that. Will it stretch that far? Its pretty short
