I am going to pick up my honda today.. It is not a beauty queen but with a little makeup she might become one. 228751. I am sure I will have lots of questions during the restore. Thanks for looking and any future advice

Shaft drive or chain? Reverse or no reverse? Shaft drive and reverse it's an 200ES, Chain it would be a 200E no reverse.
Looks like a 84 Honda Big Red 200ES to me. Can see a part of the blue strip of decal on right rear fender.
This is one of my 84 Big Red 200ES

TrickShot is correct. 1984 honda big red es. Got an extra fuel tank and front fender. Seat has to be redone. Will have to clean the fuel tank lines and carb. 99% sure a valve job will follow. He said it smoked last he ran it. So now people for the fun part. tell me the do's and don'ts of this bike. What should I look for to make it the best it can be. The back plastic is good. Both front fenders have a few dings and chips. I will get some more pics tomorrow. Tell me what pics you need to critique the bike for my restoration. Thanks in advance.

I believe trickshot is correct and that is a 84 200es! I've got one o them in my collection as well. I am told that those rear diffs are basically indestructible although my wife seems to think I could be the exception to that. .[emoji55]
Nice save, congrats!

Wouldn't say that sucks at all. Take it as a verbal contract to keep buying trikes. So feel happy and proud when you go on the hunt for the 200ES's big brother, the mighty and even more impressive Honda Big Red 250ES, or even go for the more sporty Honda 250SX because after all your wife said to get your own..

TrickShot in the words of little Johnny i like the way you think. I am torn though I feel the lust to trike hunt. Actually saw one sitting in a field today. Could not get anyone to answer door but I will go back. But my other project once this is done if the trike fever doesn't hit me too hard is a 67 olds 442. Been sitting waiting on my daughters to graduate so I have money to fix that baby up.

Oh and get this I came across a guy who owned a honda dealership, back when they sold trikes. Said if he has to get all his machinery up and running to help rebuild this he will. Said something about 63 yrs exp with Hondas. Not sure I heard him right on the years part but was encouraging none the less

In my opinion nay

Any day you buy a 3 wheeler or a gun is a great day! I have a hard time parting with either one, but hey I

My sister in law once said I should sell my 3 wheelers to pay for Ivf so my wife and I can start a family, I told her my 3-3 wheelers won't pay for the cup to jack off in! Not selling my Trikes!

Had extra guns even though it was so hard to part with. As it stands right now they make more guns. Stopped making trikes awhile ago. And to get a childhood memory back was for sure worth the suffering of the all pain of giving up the gun.

Imo I believe you did well, given the opportunity I would have done the same
