Stumbled across this kit on Fleabay, has anyone had any experience with this kit?

Seems ridiculously cheap... A reflection of its quality perhaps..?

This is what I know for sure from personal experience, without crawling all over the internet to find the answer.

There is a lot of conflicting information in that ad.

65.5 mm is the proper bore for a standard xr200.

The "valid height" spec in the ad is basically useless. We can only assume they are referring to the total sleeve length, as the stroke for both xr200's and atc200 series' is only 57.8mm.

I suppose you could measure your sleeve, but what you really need to be sure is the measurement from head gasket surface to base gasket surface. You could email the seller for this info. I dont have a trike cylinder where i am right now but maybe someone else, or yourself, can provide that measurement.

The picture clearly shows a different style of cylinder all together. It has a cam chain adjuster boss in it. That's not necessarily a deal breaker, but it is peculiar.

No xr200 ever had 223cc stock. Thats the displacement for a crf230. Coincidentally (or not) the stock bore for a crf230 is also 65.5mm. However, they have a longer stroke than the 200 series motors at 66.2mm.

The crf230 engine has a cam chain tensioner boss on the cylinder.

That kit is for a 230f. They don't know what they are selling.

Chances are you already know this answer..the meer fact you are doubting this 'great deal' and asking the group already suggests it!

China replacement parts for our classic 30 year old trikes..yikes.

What a false economic choice 100% of the time..that crap never lasts.

Go in for the good stuff..your trike will love you long time!!
