I have an 82 big red 250 ES and I was wondering if I could convert this to a 2 stroke. Or possibly put a small supercharger on it. Is it possible?

Well someone is gonna call you on it..might as well be me.
82 Big Red 250ES?? No such animal..the 250ES was 85-87(88 in Australia)
But if you are indeed talking about a 250ES there is no way a 2 stroke conversion could be done..there is no 2stroke that would fit that chassis.
As far as a supercharger?? I guess the question would have to be asked..why?
The 250ES has a utility gear range..a supercharger would only serve to blow it well past its redline and to smithereens!!
You young fellas..always so heart set on blowing stuff up!!

I'm curious how you would drive a supercharger...
That said no I don't know anybody that ever put a 2 stroke engine in. But there is no reason you couldn't with a good enough welder and time.
the Big Red is a utility trike. Not a speed racer.

Both the swap and supercharger are possible but I have not seen either actually done.
Polaris made some 2-stroke ATVs that are pretty capable if you're hung up on it.
Would be much easier to buy than swap.

dude... Just buy a 250r, Tri-Z or Tecate. Don't butcher a perfectly fine bigred! As for the supercharger, it'll create more problems then fix. But seriously buy a 250r if you want a 2 stroke!
