Hope you're okay. There is never a good time to have an accident, especially when such a NICE vehicle is involved. Makes me appreciate the little slice of life that I still have left...

Yeah, I am fine... Irritated, but fine... Was amazed how stinky air bags are. (and glad they weren't the takata shrapnel bags!) Stiff armed the impact so hard, the airbag never touched my face. Needless to say my arms are a bit sore today! Gotta try to find a replacement vehicle now, which sucks, I loved that truck. Shopping to replace a vehicle you didn't want to replace isn't my idea of fun. Wear your seat belts kids!

No semi, 03 Chevy pickup... Gave myself a shin splint stomping the brakes so hard, guessing the old dodge was nose diving pretty hard when the impact happened

Glad you walked away without too many injuries!

Insurance is going to total that?

My guess is yes... Kbb puts it around 23k, and the passenger front wheel isn't where it's suppose to be, (obviously so) but there is some pretty funny binding going on, the drivers rear wheel to wheel well is all goofy, there is 3-4" too much suspension now, so I am guessing frame is twisted up pretty good. I kinda hope they total it, it's got enough damage that I don't think I want it back at this point

Glad you're okay, that looks like it was a pretty hard impact! It sucks to lose a truck you liked, but remember that vehicles are replaceable, you are not.

Damn straight…sucks major balls to lose a vehicle (especially one you love), but sucks even more to be stuck with a lifetime of pain and suffering. Don't even know ya, but really glad you're still in one piece!

We were in a borrowed 90's F150 beater headed to a construction job in Brooklyn, MD and lost a wheel on I-895. Sucked that there was no shoulder…but sucked even more that the wheel bounced over the jersey wall and was lost forever at the bottom of Curtis Bay:/

AAAhhh i see...... so party #3 as well as party #2 and #1 own you because of your negligence ? .....hey i`m glad your ok too !.......but there are checks and balances in the real world .......unless your lawyer advised you not to state what happened ? .....how bout dem Viking`s ??????

As his self appointed legal council I can assure you that this is nothing more than a classic open and shut case of "sh*t happens".

Last time I wrecked on a US public road my insurance company covered the damage caused by my negligence. Do you think there's some reason his wouldn't do the same?

Glamy, you got sand in your snooper?? Didn't realize I had ever proclaimed "no fault" in any of this... Who said anyone owes anyone anything? Like i said, i hit the back of the party...? There really isn't more to the story. This is why we have insurance, sometimes dookie happens

As far as their customer service, I may very well be looking for a new insurance provider after the dust settles... My truck was nicer with 82k on it than alot of these newer used trucks with a fraction of the miles on them... i had just spent 200 bucks on pdr 3 weeks ago, (not that anyone can tell now!) Nothing fun about accidents, or the headache that follows them... But if you drive around on this rock long enough, it'S bound to happen at some point....

Just short of 17k in damages to my truck alone...
