First post here. Familiar with forums and wrenching. These were my buddys trikes that hes had for years. They were beaten and neglected and had sat for a year. I was over at his place one day and he mentioned he was going to sell the non running pair for a hundy. I told him Id takem and he gave them to me as a house warming gift. Both 84 110s One needed a top end, one wont shift. the one that needed the top end is a little nice all around, and the one that didnt shift was all around rusty and more beat-er.

Took the top end off one for the other. The cylinder was good but the piston had dings in it that looked like some one ground smooth. Haha. Ordered a few parts and got it back together.

Piston from the non runner:

Piston from the one that ran but is stuck in 3rd gear.

Even found this at the ski school I work at. It was in the bin of toys they give out to little kids!

Had a little trouble getting it to run, both carbs were giving me issues, but we got it. A new one is on the way but this one works for now. Straightened out the handle bars. Cleaned up and zip tied the plastics, changed the oil and tightened the chain and straightened out the mangled chain guard. And off we go!

New seat cover, carb and grips on the way. It now has the tires from the other one as the rear had more tread and the front had good wheel bearings. And a trailer hitch going on.

Would still like to bring the other one back to live too. It will need transmission fixed cylinder and piston, intake valve, front wheel bearings, throttle and break lever, seat, pan and cover, and a carb. Was thinking of making this one have a little more power. Bore out the bad cylinder I have, dratv cam and a bigger carb? It already has an older supertrap exhaust. Thoughts?

Thanks for reading! Looks like a great forum!
