I just got a 1985 250r. The rear bearings are shot. the guy I got it from gave me a new set of bearings, and a (new) axle carrier. how do I remove the old one and install the new one, (with the new bearings). I used to own a 1984 200s and the axle removal, and bearing replacement was easy. The 250r looks way different, I've looked on Google and YouTube with no luck. any help would be appreciated, I want to get it ready for trike feast at Haspin Acres.
Thanks
Jeff

You will need to get some tools if you don't have huge wrenches on hand. Tusk makes a kit with 2 wrenches for the axle nuts. Heads up, one of the nuts is Left Handed Thread.
I have the driver set to install bearings. If you do not, there is a sticky in Trikesylvania about how to do this.

Both lock nuts are left handed threads.
