Thanks for the replies. I had a guy that was gonna do it for $70. Now he's closing up shop from what I hear. No more website either.

Powroll used to be the biggest supplier for the 200x strokers but I believe their closed down , can try Mickey at 4 stroke tech .
If you don't mind a used stroker I think I have a couple long rod strokers still that I might part with for the right price lol

Many of the cheap shops close because they can’t pay their bills. Whenever people shop for service; the first question is usually how much when the question should really be How Good.

Every 200x I have built here in the past few years has needed a rod kit, bored and or a new sleeve installed, new piston ect. ect. When you look at the cost of rebuilding it back stock VS. performance wise for not that much power gain with just a high compression piston and cam I started making the 250cc big bore strokers. Since you have to install a rod anyway, might as well stroke it for another $200 or so. If it's needing bored or resleeved might as well go big bore. Then the other cost is just boring the cases. Even if you spend $400 to $500 more the power you are going to get is big, and this is still a pump gas motor. I'll have the HP numbers in 3 weeks. It's not for everyone, this is for someone that wants to get some big HP over just a off the shelf piston and cam set up.

I do love Jeff. He has done nothing but good by me and has helped out many of my friends. For those of you that want the best in the Midwest look no further than FAST racing.

I am gonna guess 27-36 hp, if it's more than that I will be shocked.

I'm pretty sure I have a 200x crank in the shed that's good. Pm me if interested.

I sent mine out to Fast racing. He's had it for a week. I'll email him this week. Hopefully it will be done soon.

Well a unstroked 200 will turn 23 at the very best . So 36 max seems a touch high . My best guess is 29hp . Im thinking of having this done to my x motor .my crank needs rebuilding so its def getting stroked . How big the bore will be im not sure yet . Also contemplating oversize intake valve .

I achieved 25 out of my 218 stroker and Matt (Xrider) achieved 27 with his stroked 200x. And notice I did a range.....

Sounds about right for a stroked motor .may the 250 big bore stroke combo will make just under 34 hp .my guess anyway

I still have not got my crankshaft back from Fast Racing. How long does one of these take to rebuild. My word.

Have you called him? I sent him a head his week and he told me two weeks turn around. Jeff is swamped with porting cylinders at the moment.

He called me last Friday and said it would be done this week. He had to send it somewhere else as he was having problems with it. They had to make shims to get it right. The shims it came with wasn't working right. 250 bucks for a crank rebuild true and welded.. Wow.

Bubba Ramsey is my go to. One of the most knowledgeable and down to earth guys I have met. He is very busy, but if he gives you a time frame, he sticks to it.

Well I got my crankshaft in the mail today. Looks pretty good. I figured it would come with both bearings installed. Also looks like different bearings. Not sure if the all balls bearing set I purchased were different. I did not check when them both when I received them. I only opened the one that looked like the installed bearing. Anyways looks like an all and all good job. As for installing the bearing, any tips would be useful, appreciated as it is a snug fit.
