Somebody had to post a thread, right?

I mean, it affects us all, right?

Or, is it just another thing that happens in a diverse society, one that should be considered, but not dwelled upon?

Perhaps, something that should be looked at with perspective, relative to the massive amount of unreported and not-so-sensational tragedy that currently occupies our planet?

What a mess we are in.

If the wind wasn't affecting people's aim there would be a lot more bodies…(referring to the Chicago post)

Seriously though, WTF? It's these idiots that are largely responsible for success in the movement to disarm law abiding citizens. Scare the sheeple into thinking that giving up their guns will make criminals will do the same. #pathetic

Just to be an equal opportunity hater, the same blame falls on the Columbine, Aurora, and Charleston assholes. There is no real solution here. Taking away guns won't help, expanding background checks won't help, etc…these are just things the powers that be can pat themselves on the back for and win votes by giving the sheeple a false sense of security.

The only real solution is to fix ignorance, and good luck with that. Stockpile, train, plan, and always watch your 6. It's the best thing we can do.(

I asked a simple question because I see no correlation between your thread title and Els response. It's that simple. Why is it so hard for you to answer a simple question?

ETA:You know what? Nevermind, it's not even worth it. (Sound familiar?) If you're so insecure that asking you to clarify an intentionally vague thread title makes you believe that there is some alterior motive, you need to seek proffesional help.

Well .....lets ask AK-47KID WTF is wrong with his parents ? .......maybe we could learn something new about parenting ! ......nothing ......seams to kill me .......no matter how hard i try .......blow up the outside ......blow up the outside world ! ....blow into hell and gone ! Such a brutal planet ......it`s such an ugly world !

I was gifted a gun at birth, learned to shoot it at 5 years and kept it in my room from age 7 and on, bullets in the dresser drawer. I've yet to shoot anyone. There's a gun in the home of every citizen of Switzerland (so I've been told). I've never heard of a nut job shooting there.

It's not the guns that make people in the US crazy, but having a gun on hand when you lose it is a bad thing. I think the AK-47 kid is plenty save to be around.:beer

There was a shooting at UCLA? Hmm. Just think what a thread titled "Shooting at UCLA" might have accomplished, if you really want to talk about it? Plus it would help those who hadn't heard about the shooting yet figure out what you were talking about.

I think we should make murder illegal. That'll show 'em.

Big jim`s been drinkin whisky and playin poker on losing night ,,,,,pretty soon old jim start thinkin ......somebody been cheatin and lyin ....mr. saturday night special.....if you could look inside his colon .....you could`nt tell jack sh!t about what he`s gonna do !

It's not the gun. Up in Canada where pistols are in short supply "Big Jim" uses a knife, or a broken bottle to arm his inner demon.

To kill is to be human, that's how we made it to the top of the food chain. Thing is when you do it starting as a kid for food and fur you see the results of your actions in the eyes of your victims and see the finality of death at your hand. How many "Chitown shooters" do you figure ever killed an animal? I'm betting none. They killed on a video screen and then hit the reset button and did it again without consequences. Makes it a lot easier to pull the trigger on a drive by if you don't know what a last breath of life looks like up close.

I want to add to this; if every inner-city kid who eats meat had to go to a rendering plant and kill a cow while in school, I suspect a lot less of them would grown up to kill humans. Might be a good way to weed out the nut jobs too. Anyone who gets back in line with a smile on their face to do it a second time should likely be counseled.

The only way to fix the problem is to address the issues causing it. The ones who actually try to address the issues honestly are called racist, insensitive, or whatever #currentcriticizeotherswhodontagreewithyouterm the SJW movement has come up with.

What happened to learning to swim?

Yep. It makes me gag when I hear the same mayors that have banned guns from their cities and turned their backs on their own police force to remain popular with the trashy voters put the blame for increased gun violence on other nearby States that continue to sell guns. Like you said, they should just make murder a crime. That sums it all up if anyone has the capacity to understand how stupid it is to think an unenforced law will prevent crime.

You should see how well gun control works down here
