I saved a 1986 200X from a horrible life that it was living. The previous owner treated it pretty bad for the antique that it is. The engine smokes a lot and they welded the kick starter to the start spindle and it's obviously broke loose a few times. My question for all you 3 wheeler experts is - can a 1st generation 200x engine fit in an 86 frame without any modification or by just changing motor mounts? I'm sure no one has ever wanted to install an older motor for a newer one but the older ones are so much easier to find engines and parts on the Internet.
