Noticed my headlight was dim - decided to get the taillights working and it turns out dim headlight was caused by a short in the taillight wires. Previous owner did a real job back there hacking stuff up ...Anyway, after removing all the electrical tape I'm left with three sets of wires - ea set has 12v with the light switch on. Why do I have three sets of hot wires? Is there supposed to be a middle light (#2 in pic) that's missing?

I just did mine .... 1. & 2. is suppose to be on a double female ferrule lug together, with one set connected to the one light and the other set open. 3. is correct as it is now, They probably did that so you can connect another tail/stop light without cutting the wires should you wish to do so ....

Thank you sir! Can you please post a few pics for reference of the "double ferrule lug" whenever you get a chance?

Apologies for the terrible quality, I had a space limit when taking the pics, I can take better ones when I assemble my carb next week.
