I'm with DOHC on this one. Stock will last for ever and is quiet.

The further away from stock you go, the more of a head you make. If you want to be loud, or gain an unnoticeable amount of power, an aftermarket pipe would do it.

So if i was to go with dg id have to rejet it?

Yes, you would have to use a bigger main jet. The amount of noise you will create with the DG is ....outstanding.

I only replaced the main, didnt mess with the pilot, probably need to check it. Jets r us online. I think i am using over a 125 with dg & k&n. Been a while since. 86 200x.
* My bad, disregard ......thought it was another x post!

Your 200es has either a 98 or a 100 main jet. Buy one each of the next 3 sizes bigger.

I buy most of my jets from Jetsrus.com. Most genuine Keihin jets there run about $7 each.

I recommend you read this thread being that you state you have never changed jets before. This will go through the "hows and whys" of carb jetting. You should have a pretty descent understanding once you get through it: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/55086-Carb-Jetting-101-Terms-Tips-and-Jetting-Theory

Awesome, thanks for the help ya'll. Another question, whats a good tire set up? Ive have the bear claws before and really liked them, just lookin for something with enough tread to get me out of a sticky situation if encountered with out having to dog it. Really only use it for hunting and fishing but just if it does happen any suggestions?

I'm planning to get a set of ITP Mud Lites for the rear of my 200es soon. They are one of only a handful of manufacturers making 25" tires for 9" rims any more.
