Hey, this is an amazing site and holds a wealth of information. I'm glad I stumbled upon it. I recently got 1.5 three wheelers from a friend of mine, and I've been working on them since. One is a 1985 KLT250, and it's all there and runs pretty well. The other is also a 1985 KLT250, but didn't come with the engine, coil, or handlebar controls. I found a 1983 KTL200 engine with good compression, but it didn't come with a carburetor. Does anyone know the measurements, or know of a replacement carburetor that will work? My son (12yo) and I are working this to go trail riding together.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I'll see if i can locate some info on this for you. I've got a manual that cover's both, and I believe it'll have the carb size/jetting.

If all else fails, and your comfortable with jetting and carburetor, there plenty of alternatives that will more than likely work.

Well done. We really need to get that stuck in a safe place. The KLT 200/250 info is lacking. Some here, some there. This is what I've got, starting with what you found Yellow.

I miss my full shop manual for the KLT200. It's gone MIA.
