I got this 200x years ago and just now started working on it the timing chain tentioner had snapped so I changed that and reset the timing put everything back together and wouldn't fire so I checked the compression and had zero on the gauge so I figured maby I was 180 off so I turned it 180 and still no compression tred a little oil in the cylinder and still nothing. I'm not sure if I might have bad valves or what just figured I would see what everyone thinks befor I tear to far into it.

Make sure to set your valve lash. You need to have a little clearance between the valve tip and the rocker arm when on the compression stroke. Go download the manual for the detailed instructions. If for some reason your valve lash is too tight it could actually be holding the valve open a bit, preventing you from getting compression.

From my aircraft days we used the stethoscope to check for leaking valves & seats. I think that HF has a suitable unit for you 4 stroke folks. This is a very handy tool to zero in with your problems. You might as well have the cylinder honed with a new set of rings. Have the cylinder properly honed & measured, not using an Egg beater hone. There is plenty of room for more folks in the cylinder repair business. Give me a call & I can help you get started. A good Sunnen hone would help you get started with the best equipment.

Alright so I finally tore into it and there was a piece of copper somthing or another stuck in the valve it chewed up the head a little. So my next question is will the head from a 200s work in its place or do I need to find a new one?

It will work but you better make darn sure there isnt anything else in the motor first.

Can we get pics of the damage?

Can't seem to upload any pictures from my phone. But it all seems to be out and the cylinder wall look good just messed up the valves. Now I just gotta wait for my gasket set to show up so I can see if she runs.
