Fantastic condition and runs like a sewing machine. I dont think i have ever saw a red 88 like this one in person. I have had a few of the 87 trx models in white. They were parts machines though. I dont have any pics of it yet.
So far the only down fall i see or should i say feel is it has no suspension. My boy loves it though.

Came with a title too! Needs a battery and maybe front tires. They hold air but have the good ol dry cracks.

Save the OE's in a cool dry place lol. Hopefully he gets years of good service out of it. The rigid frame gets real old after trail riding, but fields and roads he will love it!

Bill are specifically looking for an 88? They come up around here from time to time, if you'd like me to email links when I see them I sure can. Didn't know they were rare or I'd have bought a few by now. I know of an 87 for a decent price at the moment.

88's arent square, the 86 is the last square body 87 88 was two year bike rounded like the fourtrax 250's

they are rare machines because they are actually factory converted trikes. the ATC 125 was extremely popular so they had plenty built before the ban. you can look at the frame and see the trike frame still in there (single downtube, single square neck tube up to where the steering stem WOULD be)

ive got one too its a great machine.. besides the no suspension of course

Yea thats a sweet bike i almost want one to complement my 86 125m. But they are few and the ones i do find are trash. And parts are just as hard if not harder to find for this model as compared to the atc.

It is a square. Dont forget your on a triangle site. I am very aware of the differences between the first and second generations. I have also owned a few 86 and 87 125ms.

I think this one is going to be a yard runner. No suspension beat the hech out of my boy yesterday. He ended up riding his trx90 wheb we got off the trail. The only other machine i can think of that would not be overkill WITH suspension is the zook LT160. Made for many years. Should be a few around.
Only other would be the 200sx but that is still a little bit bigger than i want to put him on. Plebty of those on craigs for around $800 in dang good shape.
