you guys realize that that truck was prolly doing 5mph when they backed it on the trailer. if you dont believe me the jeep in tomb raider was towed by a datsun pickup it didnt even run. besides chevys are butt ugly and the drop hardtop wasnt theyre idea it was mercedes's

if you watch closely you can tell that 180 the SSR does is the real deal,i dont know how many takes(or sets of tires, lol) it took, but that IS the real thing, just my 2 cents )

that was real you cant fake smoke like that and make it look real but im talking about the part where it gets on the truck. as soon as the drive wheels hit the ramp the the ssr would have launched into the other cars

that commercial is the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro... even though i am a ford guy, but drive a new dodge i think its the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro.... i love ford trucks, but they need to take the New Dodge Ram SRT-10 and make a commercial with the new Chevy SSR. and the Ford Lighting racing from a red light, and have the Viper Powered Ram come up from behind them and pass them....

WTF?? Look Chief...I'm not here to debate how, who, when, or where they made that commerical...all I said and I'll say it again...I thought it was a bad ass move...even if it was done on two shots to make it look like one.

trikekid, actually ford had retractable hardtops on cars in the 1950's. they called it the "skyliner" the concept is not new, by any means. And Hey finger, chill out, dont you know this site is mostly populated by kids that were just a twinkle in thier daddys eye when we were out riding? :D

yea that commercial is bullshit the new chevys are uglier than studebakers the neww corvette with european headlights , the new aveo that i could ride over on my 200 S and the new 41,000 dollar ssr which makes me want to gouge my eyes out with steaming hot razor blades
looks like we will have to turn to pontiac if we want any performance such as the new GTO i cant believe chevy destroyed their camaro/firebird for some ugly retro truck with 3 feet of bed room

hmm, we can't keep the ssr in stock. every one that comes in is already sold. some people are buying them and reselling for more. One guy bought a yellow ssr and is paying $1066 a month for 5 years...... over 60,000 and the vehicle's msrp is 48,000
