Hey y'all new guy here, the tri moto has been sitting in my parents shed for 12 years after my brother seized it up. My goals are to learn the in and outs of this thing and get it running again and enjoy it!

So far I've taken it apart and found the piston seized in the cylinder, and the crank and rod not doing a full rotation in the crank case. With that said I have a Haynes book that says to remove the clutch as with other things I have removed, but I'd like to avoid getting into the clutch it seems intimidating :wondering . Is the clutch something I need to removed to take apart the crankcase?

Here's a few pics!

Yes you do need to remove the clutch. It's not that difficult if you follow the directions and take many pictures for reminders it's not that hard just make sure you index the gear selector properly and adjust your clutch properly. Both are in the book.
