hello. im pretty new to wrenching on these wheelers so forgive me if i sound dumb. my question is: im trying to get a fork with shocks for my 82 atc 200. i found an 83 atc 200 frame that has one but its missing the axle and axle clamp. is there a certain kind of axle i should be looking for and how the heck do i find one? sticker on the fork says "showa 958 003". ill try adding a pic if it will help.

Search for an axle, for the ATC that the forks originally came from. I'm not an ATC 200 expert, so I don't know if those were standard on the '83 version, but there are lots of experts here that know that ATC like the back of their hand, and they will chime in eventually. In the meantime, you could browse through these old Honda specs & brochures, and maybe find what you're looking for. Good luck. http://www.3wheelerworld.com/content.php/123

If your putting the 83 frontend on your 82 you need the 83 front axle.Search ebay for 83 atc 200.Im not sure if the same year bigred will work or not.
