I have found a really nice crf450x for a really good deal and I am thing of buying it to convert to a trike. I've looked and found quite a few 450r dirt bike conversions but not so many of the 450x. I was wondering if he wide ratio of the x would be better or not for the trike. I only plan to free ride, no racing and I am planning to go to glamis and silver lake at least once. This will be a trip of a lifetime and I have about 2 years to prepare. I have twin boys that are 12 and I want to take them in the next couple years.
I want a really dependable like new trike as if honda just built it. I want a 4 inch longer swing arm. I am just trying to decide if I want to the bike route or trx? I think I like the bike a little better, I have looked at tpc trikes and they are awesome, but seem to be more for racing. Anybody with a bike conversion let me get your opinions and experiences if you will.
