I haven't really been on the forum since TF16. I've logged in maybe two or three times since and I haven't been lurking whatsoever. I've hovered my mouse over the bookmark on my browser and actively said to myself, "nah I don't want to even be aware of the drama." I've ignored my moderator duties and pretty much the entire forum. I have been burnt out on this forum. I'm burnt out on the nonsense that constantly needs moderated. I'm burnt out on some detractors that are never happy. It's been really refreshing not being here. There's been stuff on this forum that's left me with that 'sick in the stomach' kind of stress and I haven't had it since TF16. I don't really want that feeling over this forum. It's not worth it.

I've been pretty much using Facebook exclusively for my trike community stuff. People love to knock it but there's less anonymity there and people seem to self moderate more.

I'm thinking I'm going to continue my break for a while longer. This isn't a goodbye post. It's a, "I'm burnt out so I'm giving this forum less focus." post. I'll check in once in a while but this forum isn't going to be a daily visit for me anymore. For a while at least.

I joined this site in 2008 with this being my very first internet experience whatsoever. Over the time I've spent here I've learned a lot. Once not long after joining I "took my ball and went home" and thought I was proving a point. All I had proven was I incapable of handling social networking on this forum. Making a public announcement of your departure from such an irrelevant (in the grand scheme of things) platform is so... who cares? I've left here for months at a time without saying anything, sometimes for no particular reason or bad blood or anything like that. Other people do as well, it happens all the time. From the time I joined this site in 2008 I've seen more threads like this with people leaving (including my own) than I can even remember, as well as threads griping about the "current crowd" on the forum and how awful it is. What my experience here has taught me, and my attentiveness to patterns, is this forum is no different than old fogies reminiscing about "the good old days". Yes there are groups on here, no not everyone likes each other. These are constants, they are ever-evolving. The site progresses and evolves, new people join, old people leave, and there will forever be those who stand by William and those who once did. What's unfortunate is the animosity that arises and the disdain people develop for one another, however one must always remember these are just thoughts typed out at random times by random people who go through different moods and any sort of different life events you can imagine. So many controversies on here, obviously I'm not excluded. However I'm still here, and so are my allies and my not-really-allies. You don't like what you see you can either step into the discussion and state your view, but be prepared to back it up, or just not partake. To announce one's own defeat in such a meaningless platform in the first place, well that's like lurking around for years with a chip on your shoulder and talking about how crappy this place has gotten which is perpetually adding nothing more than more shite to the pile you're already pointing at and calling too shittty for you.

I still like you for some reason, but you are the last person who can say anything about this place because if I quoted the last posts you've made on this site going quite a ways back they would all be negative in connotation. And this aims to help the site how? Or if you're aiming not to help, then why complain in the first place?

Louis I like you as well and you know I respected your authority. I did so publicly. I was out of line and you handled it, but then you stopped. I've typed multiple things over the last couple months that I was sure I'd get a vacation for, but I didn't. I wasn't doing it for a thrill or to test the waters, I did it because I was passionate and speaking my mind and for being allowed to do so I am grateful. It makes me feel as though my words are worth considering. If you didn't like anything that was happening on this forum you had every power to make changes however you saw fit. You are my friend but it would not be my place to hold it against you for banning even myself (again). That's why you were a mod, but nobody was modding. You could have been, yes? But you didn't and you're not happy with the way the site is now. We all have our respective amount of input on the steering wheel that guides this site, but you controlled the brakes. I gather it's not an easy task but someone has to do it. If you don't want to someone else will, as is the cycle of life here on 3WW.

Yes, this is the time of Glamy, Barnett, and DOHC. And let us never forget the luscious RamsesRibb. I've had a lot to say as well. This will be very hard for many to believe but I have actually curtailed my posting as of late because I can see the group posting heavily together. I see the pairs and the groups and it is overwhelming, I get it. Gaggles forming left and right, but it to me is a representation of the world we live in now, which is why I partake in so little as far as current events. This planet is rife with turmoil right now, just enraged. It is what it's supposed to be right now, what with elections and constant worry imposed upon us as a species.

For whatever "trouble" I've caused and for those who dislike me because of what I write, that's unfortunate. I speak very passionately for what I believe in and my goal on this forum is for honesty first at all times while always putting the greater good ahead of myself. My fights in this place are with the very best of intentions in place and in time more will figure that out. My aim was never to cause enough of a disturbance to put others off, but if anyone pays attention to my posting it is very much in a defensive fashion lately. There are some very aggressive people out there who aren't exactly well balanced. I find it disturbing that society has developed such a tolerance for being spoken down to, or is so desperate to associate with someone with such a poor demeanor for some reason. I'm sure I never made your job easy but I never held it against you for doing it.

What I find most amazing but also not surprising is this "mass Facebook exodus". It's funny for so many reasons, but that's a different thread entirely. We are the enthusiasts here and we always will be.

You are correct . I would definitely head this ship in a different direction by making it a far more peaceful and "Family oriented." place . I am on a couple other very large forums and none of them have the negative tone/atmosphere that some create here, therefore, if those forums can be fun and friendly, there is no reason in the World that this one can't also, all it requires is the desire of the owner of the forum.

This is also the second post in less than a week I have seen from the sites staff basically saying that they just don't care about it anymore . The first one was from Billy . Since that is the case, it makes me wonder why they don't simply sell the site thereby relieving themselves of the headache . It's not like the site generates boat loads of cash for them, and they can still be members if they choose to, therefore, selling it won't affect their ability to continue to post, but they will no longer have the stress of dealing with the troublemakers . None of this seems very complicated to me at all.

Below is just one of many examples where a few members not only completely destroyed what should have not only been a fun thread, but also an informative one on a very popular bike . This is also not an isolated incident and I could post several more that got so bad that Louis Mielke stepped in and warned people to stop . I also included part of the pm the op sent to me because I was one of the only ones on his thread that was staying on topic and encouraging him to disregard the rhetoric and continue to post, however, because of what a few others posted, he left the site, so yup, I guess you're right, "The Great Barnett" is definitely the problem on this site isn't he?

I am tired of typing novels..
So here goes in short quickest statements I can .

Tim Sr was the DON of this website. While this came off as frictional, it was usually from asshole no good morons who wanted to trash this place with pornographic, or lude behavior, and they showed up to trike racing events in the dawn of the trike racing resurgence drunk off their ass, and jeopardized the whole movement at the new racing infancy.
When Tim Sr took a stand on it, the site owner protected the morons and trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro on Tim for his efforts. As a spiteful move to Tim Sr, he was removed as a sight admin more like THE site admin, and his close personal friends were appointed moderators because of their popularity in Ohio Trike racing , closeness with TIM Sr, and more so just to spite TIm sR.
Then his arch enemy raffa at the time, was also appointed moderator. Raffa was a cool dude at the start, but his own agenda to form his own racing crew that went against the OTC crew family and moderated races, drove him in a direction of jealous rage that resulted in multiple fights with the OTC moderators and regular members anf the OTC which ripped this fourm right down the middle.The sight owner's spite, and popularity status, started to over power the desire to keep qualty people in favor of quantity people. That pisses me off...

Then I volunteered to build the TriZ for the giveaway. We agreed I needed more than 6 months to finish the project so I was told by Swinehart and the TF planning crew to take my time and push it til 2013...Then, I hear from friends at TF 2012 that the same supporters were telling people they picked the wrong guy to build the trike and saying I would not get it done, and prematurely calling me a failure, after they told me to take longer cuz it was such a special build. In that time, we were infighting with Raffa over Tim Sr, our tri z plastics, Tammys seats, racing events and he was jealous I was building the blue TRIZ while he was the forums " self appointed tri z god" and I would not let him help me build the z. This enraged Raffa even mote and escalated the attacks to a personal level behind the seens with everything from threats to us and friends to him callig my wife names like cooksvcker and etc.

Billy sat their and protected him and told me and my wife to put up with it. I dont know where in the world anyone with any integrity would recomend a man sit back and let somebody treat their wife of 20 years like that and expect them to not be pissed off. I am really glad much of this transfered over text as I prolly would be in prison by now had much of this be in arms length with these people.

This PISSED me off even morr. Lou tried to help slightly, but more after the fact of all the damage and he wad met with resistance by Billy as well.
Tammy removed raffa as a moderator, Billy ultimately banned him and SR, and his chronies became very pissed at us for it and Billy did as well..Too bad Billy. If you would let someone talk to your wife or mom like that, not limited to the way he was treating forum members in the public, then you have issues...

Then Swinehart who had sold tickets for these trike raffles every year, decided all the sudden, he would not sell mine due the whole Raffa blow up with us I guess, and landed that bag of duty on to me and Billy to sell tickets on top of having to build the damn thing which was never agreed on. It was like John wanted me to fail building it cuz we got raffa demoderated. That is my own speculation. I ultimately turned the trike over as agreed on time, the site owners best friends mom won it, and many people found that shady. I believe it made some people leave and maybe even hurt the whole idea of the raffle in the end.
It was a legit win, but it looked REALLY fishy to most of the unaware public.
Ultimately Billy wanted me booted from moderating for my efforts but did not do it I had my wife remove me on my own request because I knew the personal attacks had taken a toll on me to moderate with fair predjudice...My war with Raffa had taken a personal toll on me and I now focused more on Billy for letting trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro get that far...
In that time Barnett and DoHC bikes joined this forum with a moderate amount of resistance from most of the daily people. They created havoc and ripples that really did not jel with the flock...I felt they needed removed before they chased people away and rooted in a "new forum of followers" that really were too young and niave to know they were being mislead by a couple of guys that never really produced any credentials as to who they were claiming they were. In retrospect I look back and should have just done what was right even against Billys wishes. Then Dohc bikes started to personally attack my wife with threats for us moderating..we have the PMs saved. Once again we were told by Billy to put up with it and do nothing, in the meantime this new " crew " of the basic 10 trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro stirrers you now see here daily, systematically ruined this forum and billy let it happen because he knew it was making me and my wife writhe in pain to sit restrained and watch it happen. Billy gets joy out of watching his enemies suffer even if it destroys him and his friends in the process.
I have him figured out I know his next moves before he does. There is no helping a person that will watch the world burn for his own pride.

That pissed me off..That is why my negativity boils. If Billy would admit his follies, apologize, and let people straighten this place out unimpeded I would go back to the positive poster I used to be.

This is just some of it..All this trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro culminated on Lou as well, he cared for the people that were trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro on, and was friends with everyone involved and just cannot take being pulled 4 ways anymore.
Billy has always been a savy tech guy but he would be far better off to handle the lights and cables backstage and re appoint people that will clean this place back up which it may be too far gone now.

Lets see if billy will leave this and address it like a man or not ig hr chooses..If not I have plenty more to type and trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro to back it up..If need be.

I see William once a year and this is just speculation, but I gather he just does not put enough care into this site to effect him personally as a human being on a day-to-day basis, and that's my speculation. I feel as though that's a fantastic attitude to have towards this site. I feel as though William has grown to appreciate free speech and finds that his life is much better if he pets his 3WW every day, but doesn't let it sleep in the bed with him. People such as yourself who want to instill rules and restrictions everywhere, it just reminds me of Nazi Germany. That's all your perspective Rob, all of it. You don't take my words for what they are. I do not dislike you or your wife or Raffa or Swinehart and I do not care who is right or wrong. I'm not dismissing your end, I'm dismissing the whole thing. I think a lot of people would rather focus on more positive parts of life and don't like the situation either, however they're not living to avenge it. Nobody can move on if not everyone does. I am concerned and if you got burned that's terrible, but there isn't anything I'm going to do about it. It is very unfortunate when people don't get along, yes.

I don't come on 3WW for Dirt Wheels to scout me, I don't know or care who they are. This is my medium, as well as yours, as well as anyone else who posts here. It is free. I like it here. I like the company and the banter and the knowledge. I don't know if Dirt Wheels frequents other forums, do they? Not that I care. I am here for 3WW and that's what this is and many people like it. Your good will and actions speak for themselves in life. If you're doing good deeds to chock up to some sort of tally to hold against other people then you're doing them for the wrong reasons. I speak up for myself, I defend myself, and I know A LOT about respect. Respect is earned, never given, and especially not given to someone who demands it absolutely without a fight. If someone is going to demand respect from me they had better be able to prove to me why I should respect them. As I've already said, my posting has been in a defensive posture, I am defending myself and not the aggressor. You as well as many others have been blinded or charmed by someone who has a tiny bit of celebrity status and are so drunk off the Kool-Aid you're completely unable to see what is presented in front of your faces. I don't care who this man is, we're all members of this community and the human race. We can all address each other as relative equals which we are on this site. When two opposing forces collide it's sometimes not pretty, and I don't aim to cause disturbance, but I will reply to things detrimental to this site, which is something you can relate to. Nothing to do with this thread per say, just wanted to let Mosh know I've been reading his posts for over 5 years and I can't think of one with a positive tone. Life is short Dude, take a few minutes to read up on the laws of attraction and the power of positive thought. They work, I can't explain how, but inner peace, money, luck, whatever, it all comes to those most ready to receive it. I'm living proof of it. Yea there are some bumps in the road, like getting burned on a shock, but so what? I can buy another one without skipping a meal. You want a Three Wheeler site with a PG ratting? Start one, its within your power if that's what you want. If you don't think you can do it, or don't want to then why would the content on this one bother you? Look for the silver lining in the clouds, not the lightning bolts.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I agree with Nico's suggestion. The law of attraction is in fact, as the title says, a law. It is not a theory, nor is it magic. It is a law of nature and therefore as real as gravity. I personally owe a lot of what I have to this. I am a living example.

My latest started threads consist of riding videos, how to problems , giving away a 3 wheeler, starting positive feedback threads, asking about fellow deer hunting seasons etc etc...I fail to see where I am negative. Once again you all have a chip on your shoulder. As a matter if fact I feel I start more positive atv related threads than the few of you who live to troll me around. Take a look. And aside from the TF 2016 and this latest round of nonsense 13 posts back I have offered content that is mostly helpful or in context of interest. Once again, you guys dont comprehend that which you do not like, and pick one little piece of fly poop out of a pepper pile and scrutinize it to death instead of seeing the real issue. This is far beyond the rating system of content on this forum at this point. That ship set sale in 07, long...long..before any of you was here...This is pointless. It is like teaching a dumb dog not to trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro in his dinner bowl with you guys. And you fail to see or understand the issue. I saw the good years, long before you guys were here. All you have to base your experiences on are what you have seen in your time and I am telling it is was way better. It is written history but you just wont accept it.
It pisses you all off when I bring that up cuz deep down you know its true and that is why you troll me. I wont feed your appetite no longer.... have your forum the way you want it..I wont be able to change it.

Mexico i noticed cars loads of Girls cruising around hooting and hollering ! Ask my wife .....whats that and they`re cute too ! She says to me yeah the ratio is 7-1 girls to guys .....i`m all holly sheet i should have come here foist ! It's dropped down to about 5 to 1, hardly worth the drive.:lol: Seriously though, it's a big issue. Tons of educated pretty girls and all of them looking for a millionaire pretty boy to take care of them. When that falls though, or they get divorced, or knocked up they start accepting down grades.

A guy with a few bucks, a 10 year old BMW and an apartamento in San Pedro could have his pick of the litter every night, but eventually one of them would stalk him and stab him one day. They get pretty competitive as they age.

I've been around this site since 2003. I can say that back in the early years the site was the most informative place in the world for three wheelers. It was matter of fact and a good place to find information, parts, how-to's, and on top of that you could let your kids stare at the pages without worry.

Now at that time I don't think I had posted much if anything. Just casually browsed all the beautiful bikes and learned about all that goes into rebuilding and what not. I not a mechanic or a tinker or anything I just love the machines and riding them.

Fast forward a decade and now I see less of the old members and a lot more open confrontation. There is still good info to be had. And most of the confrontation seems to be over petty things. The objectionable memes and whatnot are not by definition pornography. They could be maybe a little shocking to kids. But hey I will be honest, if your kid can understand what those silly little memes are portraying with their double entendres, then they probably aren't as naïve as you believe. I mean I don't want to see a swinging set of bull nuts but it's not like kids can't just look out the bus window and see them everyday in the pasture on the way to school.

I actually post a little bit now because I think I may be able to offer some insight into things as they are. This part of the site is fun for me and more interactive because I would never presume to tell someone who's built a bunch of bikes from the ground up that mine is better. For that aspect I'm here as an observer to learn things. The open forum is meant for this type of thing. I don't know if anyone here was ever on the 3wheeler.org forum, but they had an adult section that you have to request a password to access. Maybe that could be a viable solution.

I don't see how this forum is lost or anything. Just looks like some people have moved on. I like this format and I despise Fakebook. I will not take part in the accumulation of tens of billions of taxpayer IOU's to further support our government tracking system.

Through the years I have enjoyed all the information and pictures posted by Mosh and from Brian Raffa. It's a shame that this enmity has grown to the point it now is. Honestly I think that all of this is not really related to this site but to the real life interactions between the participants.

The internet is not like a telephone call or a personal letter. This is a public forum where people can say anything and others can respond in kind and the words can be difficult to interpret the meaning.

When people make comments concerning me I do not really sweat because this is the virtual world. I can turn it off whenever I want.

Now someone calling my house and calling my wife a cooksuker would be met with a foot in the ass but that doesn't have anything to do with the site. That's personal.

I will close this by saying that I have three kids who range from little to full growed and none of them care at all about anything going on here. I don't really see "adult" content anywhere so I wouldn't put to much into that thought. It's mostly teenage [emoji18]content to be honest.
