What's up guys I'm new here this is my 84 250r I just bought. This is also my first three wheeler I've owned. I grew up riding them but we were poor so owning one and ridING one is very nostalgic for me. I paid 1,800 for it. It's stock other than the kehin carb and maier fenders. It has a fresh top end on it also.I doesn't seem to open up like its should but I think that may just be a jetting issue. But it still rips. How do I change my profile pic?235902

I'd ditch those heavy mud tires and find a new rim atleast. Could be half of your problem. also check the reeds and go through the carb to see what jetting it has. Then you have a starting point.

Yeah these mud tires are wack. Deffiently need new rims. My blaster acted the same way but whenever I took it to the mountains and did a rejet it opens up fine so I'm thinking jetting for sure. I'm also not to happy about the green gaskets used in the rebuild of the top end

Lol I didn't give any info was just asking because Tapatalk doesn't let you and using your phone on chrome doesn't work for editing my 3ww profile. Or else the below would be removed (my signature)

Blasters... I love the little suckers. 235904. <- it angers people.

As for us poor folk (such as my self). New tires and rims can be pricey. But a smaller front sprocket is cheap. If its hesitating, in the mid range, check your need clip position.

It just seems it's not hitting max rpm in the first couple gears like it hesitates

Turn the choke partially on/on and see if it runs better up top. If it does, your probably lean and need a bigger main jet.

Im late on the welcome party, but welcome my air fooler brother!

I have Douglas rims and 18 inch ITPs on my 82 and I like them. Although I personally want to go with little taller tire on the rear.

The other set of stock wheels I have has stupid tractor tires on it :/
