Hey guys - hoping someone has a hint for me on what to try next. My 200es has a really loud squeak when braking with the rear. As I use it for hunting I really need to solve this!!

So I got brand new brake cables for the rear (hand and foot)and put in new brake shoes thinking this would help the squeak.

I can lock the tires on gravel now but half way through the braking pressure there is a loud awful squeak. Stumped on what else to try ?

Thanks

Oil em...lol...jk..
Idk if the drums could br chucked up in a resurface machine or not but gettin em turned down may help. My local napa can do drum and disc resurfacing but like i said idk about your drums, worth going to a place that does em and ask. Maybe try emery cloth and sanding them, even sand crossways on pads some.Make sure ya didnt pick up a rock or mud or something in there somehow,or some crap or scale fell off the backing plate.Maybe try just riding around with em squeaking.Just grasping at straws here tryin to give ya some help

Break them in I believe. Or clean your drum out
