I'm from oneonta ny,I have a 85 200x I just got in trade. First off it has no power, once I'm past half throttle it Boggs down or hesitates. Also I had oil coming from stator cover so I pulled it and it is full of oil is this normal. Thanks for any info. I'll have plenty more question in future because I just picked up a 81 250r and also been riding a 85 Yamaha dr 225 with us great trail bike. Gotta love reverse. Thanks in advance

No it's not normal for your stator to have oil in it. You probably have a seal that's leaking. Replace the seal and clean the stator up good. There may be a chance that the oil is affecting your spark and cleaning it could help it run better.

With all due respect, 350for350 is incorrect, the 200x has a wet stator. Right behind the flywheel is the timing chain and LH crank bearing. There should be plenty of oil in there, however it should not be leaking externally. Replace the large square section O-ring and you should be fine.

Do you know where I would get that gasket, or what it's called. Thanks for all the help

Left crankcase cover gasket, part number 91302-355-000, $6.84 on Partzilla, probably the same price or very close at any Honda dealer.

It should be here sat, I have another question this one is on my 81 250r. The frame on left side bottom has the motor mount on out side of frame I'm pretty sure this isn't correct. If some one can send pic of there's it would be great. I'm gonna also go hit Google but want to ask pros like you first

Hey. I would honestly start a new thread about your question about the 250R.

Might see more traffic. :)

Well didn't get the gasket in yet hopefully tomorrow. I got clutch cable in and installed it.reason I bought because old one was stretched out also when you released it you had to manually push clutch lever back.now with new cable on it goes back faster then it did but not like a normal clutch. Any thoughts on this would be great. Also the axel hubs I think there called (tire bolts to them) if I push the trike side ways it's has play. Is there a bearing in there or is it stretched out. Sorry so long of a post
