What offset is the front on a 1983 200e? Putting 12s on and they are 5-2 offset. Wondering if i need a spacer or not

Ive heard a 5-2 with a 1 inch spacer will work, does anyone know that for sure or will that be off center. Id like to know before i order a 100 dollar adapter
