I have been trying to remove the front axle bolt to put on a new tire. The nut comes off and I can't bang it out. I've put on a large nut to protect the threads and it will not budge. There is no other bolt holding it in. other end is round with a hole through it. Someone once said years ago when i tried to do it then the insides weld together and you cant get them out... Is it worth my time or not? The engine is new in the fact it was hardly ever used. I drained the oil years ago. it turns over easy. It was a fun putter in the sand and I was wanting to bring it back.

give it a generous helping of wd40/rusty spray everywhere you can (around the bearing seals, where the axle goes thru the forks) let it sit a day or so.
try again, failing the get some heat on it. Your bearings are more than likely already bad so just go to town on it with a torch, also try putting a screwdriver or drift thru the hole on the other end and turn the axle if it can.
worst case cut thru the axle spacers to get the wheel out, then tackle it out of the bike and make another axle up.
OH, AND GET A BIGGER HAMMER!
