My KX250 top end looked like that both times I rebuilt it. The blaster had some carbon build up on it when i rebuilt it.
ANtifreeze cleans a top end very well right after the head gasket blows.

You should see the hole in a piston of my snowmobile... holy hell what a mess!!! I hope my 250R's top end looks like that. Some of the sounds my bike makes sometimes scares me, but i just keep riding hoping it isnt anything major right now LOL. I know that's a poor attitude but it's to damn cold to work on it and I like riding it! So I'll probably pay the price later.

why is it some machines last like that,... and some people say they have to bore once a year??? The ones that have to bore so much also say they dont have dirt or sand getting in the cylinder, but they have to be!!

That looks very good, except to me it looks like the sparkplug started burning away the top of the piston, not too bad though, or it could just be my imagination.
