Hi! This is my first post here. I'm from Finland and I bought my first 1985 Honda ATC 350X trike this week. Thank you all for a great forum! It's very hard to find information about these machines from finnish ATV forums.

My 350X is drivable but isn't in very good condition at the moment. My goal is to restore it in next year or so. I think that there is less than ten of these in Finland so finding parts is allmost impossible. Fortenetly there is Ebay. Here is a picture of my trike.

I've had a quite a few quads before, Polaris Outlaw 525, KTM XC 525, Can-am Renegade 800, Honda TRX300FW and some Taiwan made brands. Most of them have been road legal. Right now I'm riding 2016 Can-am Outlander 450 Pro (road legal) and this 350X. Kids have also their own 2010 Honda TRX90.

I think I'm going to have planty of questions when my restoration start so I wanted to join.

Welcome! I'm no expert but those look like 250r low pro fenders. Are they fiberglass?

Thanks for the welcomes! Yes, at least the rear fender isn't original. I think it isn't 250r fender either because it looks a little bit different under the seat. It's made of plastic and it has Maier Mfg's stickers on it, but there isn't fender like that on their website. Maybe it is an old model that they don't produce anymore? Also the grab bar isn't original, rims are from 250R? and some other stuff also. I hope I'm able to make it look original again, but it takes time and money. In the meanwhile I'm trying to learn how to ride this thing :).

Welcome, and congratulations on the 350x! It's one of my favorite machines, and it looks like you have a good foundation for a restoration project. Enjoy it!

Check in here before you buy stuff. This is going to get expensive.

Welcome to the forum. Lapua bullets are my favorite hands down.

Thanks gues!

I think the rims are orginaly from the 250r.

Restoration is still waiting because I'm learning how to ride this beast first :). If you take a look at this video of mine from yesterday you understand why . https://youtu.be/MzRXMffhufc

Awesome video mate! Wish I had something like that to ride on in Australia, slippery fun! What kind of drone was used to make the aerial footage?

Thanks! Yeah, I really enjoyed riding. These are one tough machines. After flipping it I couldn't find any other damage than break and throttle levers being misplaced. I loosened the screws and straighten them out. I couldn't get the engine started right away but after couple of minutes it didn't have any problems firing up. Did the engine got flooded or what, I don't know.

The Drone that we used is DJI Phantom 4. My brother was using it and it was his second time flying so the footage is not as good as it could be. Same thing can be said about my riding .

Btw. English grammar question. Do you drive or ride these?

Footage looks great. Looking to purchase a Mavic soon myself for dune riding. It's just a large lump of cash for something I won't use all that often. Yeah the 350x is a hardy machine for sure! The correct terminology is to 'ride' not drive.

At rear I have Maxxis Razr2 with spikes that they use in enduro bikes and also in quads here in Finland. In front regular Kold Kutters.

So winter is over in southern parts of Finland and I put the summer set up on. Rear has 20x11-9 Innovas road tires and front 23x8-11 old Cheng Shin. Let's see how they work.
