New guy, first post!

I just picked up a 1978 (confirmed) ATC90. According to pictures I have found, the location of the engine kill switch is on the throttle lever housing. But my unit doesn't have the hole in the top where the kill switch would go. Its just all chrome and only functions as the throttle thumb lever. Possibly someone installed a newer or older lever? Currently the bike has no kill switch! Where else were they located?

Also the head light switch is the on off for the motor as well .
Yes your throttle is off a 81 or newer machine.
I have an original 78 atc90 in the shop right now if you need some pictures.

My headlamp & switch are this style. You mean this switch also kills the engine?

Yep if you have an atc 90 switch , the 79 and newer atc 110 head light switch is for lights only .
