Is there anywhere I can pick up a case saver for the 200x? Or will I have to have one made from scratch, I juts bought the x and someone along the way cracked the stator cover, a piece of the case and even a piece of the oil plug, I just want to put one on for safety

Stock replacements are the only ones available for the 200x. I assume you are looking for a first gen chain guard?

Have you confirmed that it will actually bolt up and the bolt holes aren't cracked or broken on the case?

Yes first generation x and no I guess the PO didn't have one because all the bolt holes are in tact

either get one from a generous person on here or wait for one to pop up on ebay or CL. for some reason those guards used to be very plentiful on ebay and now they are non-existent. I used to have a couple but sold all my stock. Maybe shortline10 has one?

I have a NOS factory case saver but it's not cheap , I might have a BAPP aftermarket one but I'll need to check .
I remember someone posting that an xr200 would work with a little modding ?

What's not cheap? Shoreline, what's your price, and I would like to see that about the xr's
