I have oil leaking into my pull start - 1984 Honda 200M

Hi All,

I have oil leaking into my pull start on my '84 Honda 200M. I assume it's because the seals are old and worn out or maybe just missing, so my plan is to just replace them. The only problem is....I cant find any info telling me what kind to get!!

The manual doesn't seem to mention any specs or part numbers for this(these???) seal(s) and my googleing hasn't turned up much either. Does anyone know what seals I need to get for this, or even better have a link to buy one?

I had the exact same problem as well. You need to replace the oil seal on the left crankcase cover...Honda Part number is 91204-968-013. I replaced mine a couple years ago, but from what I remember it was a fairly easy job and didn't cause me too much grief. Just remember to put the oil seal in with the correct side facing out.

Any Honda dealership should be able to get the part.

Here's a Honda dealer that has a website. Make sure your machine is in the interchange list, wouldn't hurt to double check the diagram too to make sure it's the right part.

Yes, the part is still available through Honda. So contact your nearest dealer and they will order it for you.
