Hi everyone I picked up a new to me 1984 ATC 125M. I had a couple of questions regarding trx125 parts compatibility. I am looking at a 1986 trx 125 seat and rear fender assembly as the one that came with the trike has no cover and looks very rough. As for the rear plastics one half is stictched and the left fender is just missing. The metal seat pan also is pretty rusty so I am reluctant to put a recovered seat into the pan just so it can get ripped up again. So i've just been looking to replace the whole shebang. Will this fit? Direct bolt in or will I have to make a couple new holes?
The next question is wheels, the tires and wheels in my opinion are pretty shot. The rims look all bent up around the lip and I figure I would be better off replacing them as well. What size wheel will I need? As well as tire size?
Sorry if these are such novice questions. A little about the trike- I am into this bike so far for 100 bucks. It runs (needs carb cleaned) also drives electric all works lights and all. However the pull start rope severed on me. Is it pretty straight forward to go in with new rope and wrap it in? The bad seem to be the plastic, seat, tires, wheels, and the pull start rope that I broke. The rest seem to be in decent working order, although the brakes could use work. up until now I have never ridden an ATC just bikes and quads. I had a blast on this little thing on the little loop i did in the yard when I got it home on flat tires. I feel like at minimum I will be into this thing for 500 bucks after buying wheels tires rear plastic/seat. I hope that isn't way out of the ballpark. Even then it won't be perfect i'm sure. I can get some pictures up in a bit when I work up the courage to go out into the cold lol.
cheers
