help!!!

i have a 1984 200m atc. i started it up three times in a row and it ran fine. i went to start it a little later and it wont start. it fires so it has spark. but it wont stay running. does anybody know whats wrong

I would check the fuel flow and the carb. How full is your tank?

i just cleaned that carb but ill check it again. the fuel line is good and my tank is maybe quarter full

do you have the petcock turned to the reserve if your gas amount is low?

no its not on reserve. and if i dump gas in the spark pug hole it still wont fire. so you would think it didnt have spark but if i hold the the plug it sparks the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro out of me

Could be a fouled plug. Try replacing it.

Bad gas? Is it fresh fuel?

Clean the carb and then put a fuel filter in line, new gas and check spark.
