New to the 3 wheel world

So a couple buddies and I decided to get 3 wheelers. I just picked up this 1985 250sx. 2 owner bike. The second owner owned it for a month before finding a 350x he wanted. This bike came with the original owners manual and a copy of the original title. Pretty decent shape for being 32 years old!239846

an 85 225dx and an 85 big red 250. another buddy of ours has a fancy new 4x4 fourtrax. we keep him around for his winch. lol:lol:

Don't have a Big Red, but they're almost the same as a Sx so I know they're a good trike. I also have a 85 225. Also a good one. As for the quad rider, well I guess everyone has their purpose. LOL!

I was shocked at the size difference between my sx and the big red. No wonder the sx is quicker lol. My buddy with the dx bought it from his father who bought it when it was brand new in 85. This thing is spotless. The only downfall is no reverse.

All of the Big Red 250s had reverse. Even the 84 200es Big Red had it. Something must be wrong if it's not working.

My buddies dx doesn't have reverse. Honda did it right lol

Ok. Gotcha now. I thought you were talking about the Big Red. I just picked up my 225dx about a year ago. I solved the no reverse problem by putting the engine from my 225dr on it. I Did a bad thing to it so I was glad that the engine is being put to good use now.239902239903Here's my 85 250sx with a 200x front end and my 85 225dx/r. I put Banshee hubs on the back of the 225 in case I want to widen it later. I already had the yellow Banshee rims. Someday, I'm going to have all three rims powder coated blue.

The 200x front ends are sweet. Love the look but not the price lol. So I just ordered a 10x5 front wheel and a 23x7x10 front tire for a similar look.

Cool. Mine was cheap enough. $250 for the whole thing, 200x front end included. Couldn't pass it up!
