How the hell do you get this back on?? Is there a trick or something??

On my sx, I like to attach to the airbox first. That way you can be sure that it is in place all the way around. You can see the part when it's on the carb and if it's no installed correctly, you can work it on. It helps a lot if the rubber's not hard from old age. If yours is, maybe you can soften it up with a hair dryer or a carefully used heat gun.

Also totally loosen up the clamps. Most times I will unhook the clamps completely so you are able to manipulate the air box hose

Use lots of WD40 and try pushing on. People also boil the air box hoses and rubber intake manifolds to help make them more pliable if they are installing larger than stock carburetor

I had a heck of a time getting mine back on my 200x. Basically, just get a side of it on, twist and push until it goes on. It's frustrating. Might try a little dawn dish soap also.
