'85 125m shift drum

So after looking through here for the past two days I didn't find much info on disassembly. I have the case in two and the shift drum assembly doesn't want to come out. Is there something I'm missing? Half the tranny is out as well as sub-tranny. Any help would be great thanks

Use a crescent wrench on the shift indicator shaft . Counter clockwise will loosen the shaft and then the drum will come out :)

Well what do ya know! Funny my service manual doesn't mention this. Thank you for the help! :)
