I just run a "dealer" oil such as Hondaline, Yamalube, or Kawachem. I recommend to people to use a good, quality oil designed for these engines. I use the regular oil for break in.

Ok cool that's what I thought or I was thinking of using amsoil. I got spooked when I saw something saying not to use normal car oil because of the wet clutch and that's what I have been using forever.

Did you guys ever consider HP4, the semi-synthetic? Use this in my CBR600RR and it really revives the wet clutch after a change. Any up/downsides?
