Welcome to the forum. I am a new member as well. Check out the sticky, "How to gain posting access to the rest of the site" under the New Member Discussion. It has all the details on how new member access works.

Takes a bit of time and a certain number of posts but the information here is well worth, at least it has been for me so far.
