Hey there,
More photo and informations about my 1986 ATC 125M I started to restore.
This ATC was stored in 1997 and never used since that. Motor was locked and recoil starter was broken and first thing I did is to repair it (this is why it's not on the photos below).
To days ago I managed to repair the recoil starter (2 hours to put this f**ing spring in place ) and even managed to unlock the motor with the help of the mighty WD-40. With a good spark at plug the motor even started when putting gasoline directly in the carburetor float chamber, but it looks like the carburetor jets are clogged. Next task is to remove the carburetor and clean it.

That looks like quite the uphill battle putting that one back in service. Good luck!

Sure. Thanks.
I currently cleaning the carburetor while waiting for my compression gauge to come in the mail. I will only start to spends bucks on it only if the engine is good enough to be saved without too expensive work.

Since you said that it started, I bet that it's not in very bad shape.

That looks to be in pretty good shape, in my opinion. I bet if you wash off the dust, it will look alot nicer. I don't see any dents or meaningful scratches or rust. Looks like a great investment. That year of 125M is a rare sight so I think it's worth the effort.

Welcome, Henrii

Do you have the rear fender and seat? I'd love to see some pics of those if possible

Yes I have the rear fender and seat, but stored in another location (this is the reason there is no pics atm). The fender is not in good shape but that's not a problem. But the seat have been modified and need to be redone.

About the current task of cleaning the carburetor I'm stuck to unclog the clogged slow jet. Did somebody know a 'I-have-used-this-trick-several-times-and-it-works' to clean it ?

Edit: carb pics

If you are looking for a seat mrtwistedwheelersworld.com has a seat and pan in decent shape if you need it. They can also make you replacement style fiberglass fenders. They aren't exactly oem but they do look good and are about your only option for a replacement

I almost bought a 86 M in a little better shape. Rear fenders just cost to much to replace.

The repairs look solid, I will first see what I can do to improve it before seeing to change them

Look like my neutral switch died just before the video...

Still have to restore the plastic parts, the wheels and to create a new seat foam.

Here it is, with its new colors.
Everything is done. Every part have been restored including bolts and nuts.
The two font fenders that I had were too damaged, I made one with two (the two rear parts assembled).
I restored the broken parts of the rear fender by melting the old headlight
I tried to rebuild the seat of scratch but the result is not great.
